Multi-touch capable Sensor design
The sensor of the PCAP Touch works via an electric field, which is projected onto the surface of the touch screen. When touched, the change in charge is registered and measured.
The mutual capacitance method of touch recognition allows the recognition of several simultaneous touch points and thus also enables gesture recognition such as zooming or sliding.
Precise controller for best performance
The innovative projected capacitive technology requires very precise controllers to enable smooth, fast performance of the touchscreen.
We use high-quality single ICs with a high noise reduction. External influences are thus shielded and a precise multi-touch evaluation is ensured.
